I'm taking the Full Stack Engineer career path on Codecademy to strengthen my skills in both front-end and back-end development. I’ve always enjoyed coding, and this course gives me a structured way to deepen my understanding of technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and SQL. I want to learn how modern websites and applications are built from start to finish, and this course lets me do that through hands-on projects that reflect real-world challenges.
As part of the course, I’m building a personal portfolio website to showcase my progress and completed projects. This will allow me to demonstrate my skills to future employers or universities in a clear and professional way. I’m also learning tools like Git, GitHub, and command line basics, which are essential for collaborating with others and managing code efficiently. Overall, the course is helping me turn my interest in tech into practical experience and prepare for a career in software development.
